Advanced Bariatric Nutrition is an online course aimed to enable the students to develop professional competency in areas related to nutritional management and post-operative challenges in patients after bariatric surgery.

This online certificate course provides an intensive, self-paced, advanced learning in the field of Nutrition Care of Bariatrics. The course is designed by academicians, specialised nutritionists and bariatric surgeons from across the country. Dr Jagmeet Madan is an eminent Nutritionist, Principal and Professor- Department of Food Nutrition and Dietetics at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Autonomous) , SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. She is the National President , Indian Dietetic Association (2019-2021). She is a gold medalist and recipient of ‘Young Scientist Award’ and ‘Dr Ramanathan Award’ by the Nutrition Society of India, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. She is a recipient of the prestigious International Research Grant award - PNPG Grant (Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group – 2017) from American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, USA. She was awarded Maharishi Karve Uttakrishta Shishak Award - 2017 (Best Teacher Award) by the SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.

She is Phd in Nutrition and Dietetics and her area of expertise are Critical Care, Bariatric, Nutrigenomics, Wellness and lIfestyle management.Dr.Geeta is the guest faculty at CCIH , Ayush Dept, Pune University.

He has several publications in reputed international journals and was invited as Faculty for many National and International conferences for live surgery as well as Oral presentations.

She has more than ten years of experience in teaching Food and Nutrition to undergraduate and postgraduate students of University of Delhi. She specializes in Therapeutic Nutrition and Institutional Food Management. She has presented a number of research papers in national conferences. Her publications include research articles in journals, chapter in books and nutrition education modules. Her areas of expertise are in Nutrition, Food science, Food Service Management and Hospitality Management subjects. Dietitians who are self-employed, consulting and Practicing with pre required qualifications and minimum two year work experience.
Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics with experience in clinical settings of multi-specialty hospital with a minimum of two year work experience
The course consists of recordings of the lectures by faculty, Webinars and Discussions, Handouts for reference and assignments for each unit.

After the registration and document verification is completed, you can make the fee payment. Once you are enrolled for the course, you will have access to the lectures and assignments.
However, after completing one module you need to clear the assignment/assessment for that module. You need to score the minimum marks mentioned for clearing the each assessment. Then you can have access to the next unit.
Basics of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.
You will receive a e-Certificate for Online Course in Advanced Bariatric Nutrition after the completion of course and clearing all the required assignments/ assessments.
For applicants with Master’s degree, work experience is not necessary. However, applicants with Post Graduate Diploma should have an experience in clinical settings with minimum of two year work experience in a multi- specialty hospital. Kindly refer to the eligibility criteria for the course.
